Hypophosphatasia (HPP) is a very rare disease that has a prevalence of approximately 1:100,000 live births. Much progress has been made in recent years in understanding HPP, and in treating patients with this condition. See the video
Dr. McKee is a strong advocate of raising awareness about Hypophosphatasia. In summer 2016 he participated in a Cafe scientifique on the subject, organized by the RSBO with the collaboration of CIHR and Soft Bones Canada.
